Summer School Elementary Paraprofessional

This is a temporary summer school position for internal applicants only.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES(Not Necessarily Limited To)

1. Assist the teacher with planning daily instruction using the provided materials
2. Assist the teacher with developing planning and delivering integrated enrichment hour
3. Assist the teacher with progress monitoring student learning and behavior
4. Foster positive relationships with students parents and other staff
5. Provide an engaging nurturing and safe learning environment
6. Participate in professional learning of summer school curriculum

Days: Monday-Friday

Times:Varies (6 hours)

Dates: June 22 -July 17th

Location: Henley Elementary and Henley Middle

PD Training Date and Room Preparation is on June 18 2026.

Sample of Typical Daily Schedule:

7:30-8:00 Staff Arrive

8:00-8:30 Student arrival and breakfast

8:30-10:00 Literacy Focus

10:00-11:30 Integrated Unit

11:30-12:30 Math Focus

12:30-1:00 Lunch and dismissal

1:00-1:30 Planning for next day

Field trips are a part of summer programming.
