Job Summary

JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

Job Title: CoordinatorSummer School

Position Description:

Coordinates the planning and implementation of summer school and manages the day to day operations ofthe summer program.

*ODE requires that a program to be eligiblefor funding it must providefor a minimumof 80 hoursof studentcontact time*

  • Promotes collaboration and communication with school personnel familiesstudents
  • Communicates program information to teaching staff and families.
  • Assists other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to exercise sound independent judgment and work within an environment of changing priorities needs and interruptions.
  • Demonstrated skills in organization leadership and understanding school and community programs activities and facilities.
  • Carries out work responsibilities effectively under pressure of deadlines interruptions and new or emergency situations.
  • Ability to work as a team with teachers and administrators and follow through with decisions made
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Hold a valid First Aid card prefered
  • Interacts thoughtfully and courteously with students staff and parents
  • Appropriately maintain and secure confidential records and inquiries.
  • Performs physical labor and walking as required.
  • Maintains regular attendance in order to preserve continuity.

Salary Range: $50.00 per hour (or hourly rate- whichever is higher) with an additional $2000 when reporting and data requirements are met and submitted
