The Suites Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of premium suites ensuring exceptional guest service efficient team performance and a high-quality hospitality experience. This position supervises suite attendants and service staff coordinates event-day operations maintains presentation and cleanliness standards and responds promptly to guest needs and concerns.

This role pays an hourly rate of $26.00.

The Greensboro Coliseum Complex is a versatile multi-building facility that serves the community of Greensboro and its surrounding areas. It hosts a wide array of events such as athletic competitions; cultural arts showcases; concerts; theater performances; educational activities; fairs; and exhibits as well as public and private gatherings including conventions convocations trade shows and consumer shows. It plays a crucial role as a hub of community activities and significantly contributes to the regional economy. The complex is made up of nine venues the largest being the renowned 22000-seat First Horizon Coliseum which has a storied history of hosting prestigious ACC and NCAA basketball championships and a concert history featuring legendary artists like Paul McCartney Garth Brooks and Elvis Presley as well as todays biggest artists like Drake Bad Bunny and Taylor Swift. The Complex also includes the 167000-square-foot Special Events Center encompassing three exhibition halls a 4500-seat mini-arena and eight meeting rooms. Additionally theres the White Oak Amphitheatre Piedmont Hall the Novant Health Fieldhouse the Greensboro Aquatic Center The Terrace the ACC Hall of Champions and the 3000-seat Odeon Theatre. As one of the most actively booked facilities in the country the Greensboro Complex annually hosts over 1100 events. Its extraordinary flexibility and reputation have earned it worldwide acclaim among promoters producers event planners and patrons alike.

• Responsible for supervising the setup of food service areas within specific suites based upon pre-order.
• Ensures all suites are set prior to the event based upon communication received of orders.

• Ensure exceptional quality and hospitality standards are maintained throughout the suite level of the arena.

• Coordinate the organization and preparation of events to ensure seamless execution.

• Supervise team members during both event and non-event days.

• Monitor and maintain food quality.
• Monitor and enforce safe alcohol policies and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain inventory control and product requisition.
• Have full knowledge of food and beverage menu items and accompaniments.
• Supervise the service of beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages.
• Check the guests ID to verify the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
• Responsible for observing guests to respond to any additional requests.
• Responsible for ensuring suites have all necessary serviceware.
• Supervises the setup of suite functions including linens dishware glassware and silverware.
• Maintains sanitation health and safety standards in work areas.
• Demonstrates ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
• Assures that the location equipment is operable and clean prior to the start of the event.
• Responsible for recognizing guests that are visibly intoxicated and taking action to cut off alcohol to such individuals.
• All other duties as assigned by the Director of Premium.

• 1-2 years experience working in a supervisory capacity in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment or applicable education. Ability to supervise the work of others.
• Ability to communicate with employees co-workers volunteers management staff and guests in a clear businesslike and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented fast-paced event-driven environment.
• Possess a valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.
• Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition subtraction multiplication division and percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions cash reconciliation and product inventory.
