JOB SUMMARYHealthRIGHT 360 a nonprofit organization and a family of programs is committed to providing accessible and comprehensive healthcare services to vulnerable populations. Our mission is to tackle systemic barriers to healthcare and promote health equity for all. We offer a wide range of services including mental health care residential and outpatient substance use treatment and primary health services. Additionally we provide transitional support for individuals re-entering the community after involvement in the criminal justice system. By integrating physical and behavioral health we empower individuals to overcome challenges by addressing social determinants of health fostering resilience and facilitating is one of the nations leading behavioral healthcare providers and is a prototype for such organizations. Prototypes Womens Center in Pomona is a 180-bed residential facility tailored specifically to women including those who wish to involve their children in their journey to recovery. Our program aims to assist women in maintaining their progress in overcoming co-occurring disorders through a wide range of supportive services. Children can foster a secure attachment with their mothers in a secure setting while also accessing mental health support and educational assistance. Our interdisciplinary team of professionals provides comprehensive treatment for substance use disorders and mental health parenting educational and life skills courses. Treatment can range from 60 days to 6 Supervisor III is a certified Counselor from an accredited California agency with at least three years of experience supervising others. The SUD Supervisor III supervises staff to ensure the provision of quality client care and effective team performance to meet agency goals in accordance with HealthRIGHT 360s philosophy goals policies mission and vision. The SUD Supervisor III is responsible for overseeing client care as it relates to staff scheduling outside agency relations and other tasks as assigned as well as other daily activities essential to incorporating the agencys mission and values as a part of our service RESPONSIBILITIESPeople SupervisionSupervise train and guide direct service staff such as SUD Counselors and Client Safety Navigators and/or management with interviews selection hires and that all direct reports are in compliance with the organizations policies procedures position expectations and performance goals and contractual ongoing feedback coaching support and conduct formal performance evaluations in a timely and arrange training and resources to ensure that direct reports are successful in their proper coverage of the program by managing work schedules and approving time away from all communications necessary to all team members to remain current with HealthRIGHT 360s policies and procedures and to inform them of quality-of-care open communication with the manager concerning employee matters/needs client assignment workload distribution across the team and seek consultation when interpersonal or team conflicts promptly and diplomatically to maintain a positive work weekly staff meetings to discuss program updates issues policies and OversightAssign clients to staffs that all treatment service plans and activities are executed in keeping with the organizations values mission vision and and assist with client case conferences as that staff provide strength-based trauma-informed and culturally competent services in an ethical and legal safety and security of the program and mediate client to emergencies outstanding crisis or events as needed including during holidays weekends and that all direct reports submit documentation in accordance with program requirements and in compliance with all regulatory requirements and the agencys policies and procedures. This includes timeliness of documentation with progress notes being completed no later than the following business day assessments treatment plans and discharges occurring on regular audits to ensure contract ServiceProvide services within the scope of practice which may include crisis intervention assessments individual and group counseling case conferences educational groups and treatment plans as ownership for any crisis as it relates to service delivery and see it through to documentation of services provided in accordance with HealthRIGHT 360s policies and procedures to satisfy internal and external evaluating and Other DutiesWork different shifts to maintain knowledge of all aspects of the and maintain training-related workflows and participate in assigned supervision agency and team in training opportunities and complete assigned trainings in a timely compliance with credential perform other duties as school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor from an accredited California agency (CCAPP CAADE CADTP).Valid First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of California Drivers License and access to registered and insured transportation with efficient and effective treatment and management of clients with co-occurring years experience supervising others preferably with direct service providing trauma-informed and Collaboration. Skill in conveying information clearly and accurately both verbally and in writing and fostering open and collaborative communication with clients colleagues and other Intervention. Ability to manage crises such as relapses suicidal ideation or overdose situations while ensuring the safety of the Competence. Ability to interface well with diverse disadvantaged populations while withholding judgment. Awareness and sensitivity to cultural diversity among clients and counselors ensuring that treatment approaches are inclusive and respectful of diverse and Legal Understanding. Familiarity with ethical guidelines and legal requirements specific to SUD treatment ensuring that counselors adhere to professional standards and regulations. Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries to clients and -Solving and Decision-Making. Capability to address challenges and conflicts that may arise within the team or in client treatment plans making informed decisions based on clinical expertise and ethical Proficiency. Proficiency with Microsoft office applications and electronic health records (EHR) systems. Ability to use human capital management (HCM) system such as Leadership. Ability to lead and motivate a team of direct service staff providing direction guidance and support to ensure effective execution of tasks and achievement of program Modalities.
