Job Summary
Durham Academy is accepting applications for highly qualified substitute teachers for Preschool Lower School Middle School and Upper School.
Responsibilities include
- Take attendance carry out lesson plans andmaintain classroom structure during teachers absence
- Work with students on academic tasks and adhere to normal school day schedule and responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues about students and curriculum
- Be familiar with expectations about student behavior and discipline and follow school procedures and guidelines
Qualifications
- Candidates should have a bachelors degree (preferably in education or related academic area) and experience working with children in an educational environment
- Must be dependable and willing to report for class assignment on short notice
- Should be familiar with online and in-person training and instructional techniques
