Position Summary: Deliver lesson plans as provided by the absent Teacher and manage the classroom.

Work Schedule:FLEXIBLE - Monday - Friday between 7:30am - 3:30 pm

License Required: Minnesota Teaching license issued by the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board or a Short Call Substitute Teacher license. Short Call Licenses can be obtained if you have a Bachelors degree in any subject no teaching preparation program required!

Salary:$145for a full day or $72.50 for a half day.

Candidates who do not currently hold a Minnesota standard Teaching license or limited short call license and have completed the STEDI SubSkills training course will have to apply for a short call license with the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board at This will need to be completed prior to attending a Substitute orientation.
