Job Summary
Paradigmworks Group Inc. is seeking a dedicated and passionate Substitute Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring that students continue to thrive in their educational journey during the absence of their regular teacher. This role requires effective communication skills adaptability and a strong commitment to student development.
Duties
- Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure continuity of instruction.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe respectful and productive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with students staff and parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Provide support in tutoring students as needed focusing on individual learning needs.
- Assist in curriculum development by offering feedback on lesson effectiveness and student engagement.
- Engage with children in various activities that promote learning and social interaction.
- Foster a nurturing atmosphere that encourages childrens growth and development particularly in preschool or Montessori settings.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with private school environments is a plus.
- Experience in behavior management techniques to support diverse learners.
- Background in tutoring or educational support roles is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Montessori methods or preschool education is advantageous but not required.
- Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with students parents and colleagues effectively.
