Impactful Work:As a Full-Time Substitute Teacher youll have the opportunity to work with students aged 5-21 in a dynamic and supportive environment. Our year-round program which includes a typical school calendar and a 6-week summer program is designed to optimize education for each students unique needs while ensuring they enjoy a full childhood experience.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
- Create comprehensive lesson plans that integrate goals and objectives from all disciplines within the IEP.
- Monitor and adjust behavior and classroom management techniques to ensure a supportive learning environment.
- Maintain open communication with the classroom team parents and program directors to enhance student performance and support.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in an education-related field.
- Currently pursuing or planning to pursue a Masters Degree in Special Education.
- At least 18 years old and capable of lifting 50 pounds independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Initial NYS Certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with students with developmental disabilities.
- Creative and energetic approach to teaching.
