Position Overview

As a valued member of the West Irondequoit Central School District team the Substitute Teacher Aide provides essential non-instructional support under the direction of a certified teacher.

Job Duties

• Assist with script preparation for recordings
• Support students with physical care and health-related needs as appropriate
• Provide assistance with student behavioral and management needs
• Assist in the proctoring and administration of examinations
• Maintain and manage records materials and equipment
• Supervise students in various settings
• Adhere to the West Irondequoit Code of Conduct at all times
