Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable individual to fill the role of a Substitute Teacher within Aurora West School District 129. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

Responsibilities
- Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure continuity of instruction.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Uphold school policies and procedures including attendance and discipline protocols.
- Assist in the supervision of students during lunch recess and other school activities as required.

Requirements
- Valid Illinois Substitute Teacher License Short Term Substitute License or Professional Educator License
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students staff and administration.
- Ability to adapt to various classroom environments and student needs.
- Patience flexibility and a positive attitude toward teaching and learning.

Daily Rate: $150/day

Building Rate (Middle/High School Only): $160/day

Long-Term Rate with Substitute License: $220/day

Long-Term Rate with PEL: $250/day
