Fallbrook Union Elementary School District (FUESD) is a K-8 district. FUESD is nestled in the foothillsabout 50 miles northeast of San Diego California. The District extends from the Pacific Ocean I-5 (San Clemente Area) and East of the I-15.
Under the general supervision of the District Nurse and Administration the duties of the Substitute School Nurse are:
To provide a variety of specialized health care services for students who are health impaired and/or have specialized health care needs
To administer first aid to students and staff
To maintain health service information and records
To do related work as required

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING:Two (2) years of college course work in nursing physiology or related field; two (2) years of nursing experience; or any combination of training and/or experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities. Willing to take additional training to treat specific medical conditions to permit students to effectively participate in provide 2 references (Preferably at least one from a supervisor - letters should be dated within the past year).
REQUIRED LICENSE/CERTIFICATE: CurrentCalifornia registration as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse and First Aid/CPR Certificate.
