QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
• Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Experience in child health community health or other relevant clinical nursing.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide nursing services to student populations on a day to day as needed basis.
• Assessment triage and treatment of acute illness.
• Administer medications.
• Communicate with parents faculty/staff and healthcare providers as needed.
• Provide emergency care in cases of injury or sudden illness.
• Perform such other tasks as may be assigned by the building Principal and/or the Director of Student Services

SALARY:$35 per hour
