Job Summary
Colorado Academy seeks dynamic and passionate Substitute Teachers. The ideal candidate will have a strong enthusiasm for working with children and be willing to teach a variety of subjects.
Candidates will be required to:
Execute lesson plans and instructional activities as prepared by the absent teacher.
Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning managing student behavior according to school policies.
Supervise students in various settings including the classroom hallways lunchroom and during transitions.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all students under supervision.
Adhere to all school procedures policies and ethical guidelines.
Leave clear and detailed notes for the regular teacher upon completion of the assignment.
Pay is $200/full day (more than 4 hours) $100/half day (less than 4 hours).
Lunch and parking are provided.
Requirements
A teaching certificate (from any state) or a Masters degree in the subject you teach is required.
Two years of recent experience as a teacher tutor or coach is also essential.

The pay for this position is $200/full day (more than 4 hours) $100/half day (less than 4 hours). Although this is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting Colorado Academy reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range. Any wage differential that may exist for the position does not relate to sex gender or gender identity but relates solely to a seniority system a merit system or relevant education training and/or experience. Medical Dental Vision and Life Insurance benefit programs are available as is a 403(b) retirement plan. Eligibility for all benefit programs is defined by the applicable plan document.
