Job Summary

Job Title: Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) / Behavioral Health Technician

Location: Aberdeen WA
Job Type: Contract 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift MondayFriday
Hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM 40 Hours Guaranteed Per Week
Specialty: Behavioral Health / Addiction Services

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) to support individuals on their recovery journey through counseling treatment planning education and care coordination. This opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about addiction recovery and behavioral health services.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive substance use assessments and evaluations
Develop implement and monitor individualized treatment plans
Provide individual counseling and therapeutic interventions
Facilitate psychoeducational and recovery-focused group sessions
Coordinate patient care with physicians nurses social workers and behavioral health professionals
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and families on addiction recovery relapse prevention and community resources
Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
Ensure compliance with state regulations facility policies and professional standards of practice

Requirements:

Associate Degree or equivalent required
Bachelors Degree preferred
Masters Degree preferred
Minimum 2 years of addiction treatment experience required
Experience providing individual and group counseling services
Experience working within multidisciplinary treatment teams
Strong knowledge of substance use disorders recovery principles and behavioral health treatment practices
Active Washington State SUDP License required
SUDP Trainees with a minimum of 1800 documented work hours may be considered if meeting Washington State requirements
