Submerged Arc Welder – 2nd Shift

LK Jordan is seeking an experienced Submerged Arc Welder to join a busy steel fabrication team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for consistent overtime competitive pay and long-term employment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality Submerged Arc Welding on structural steel and heavy plate

• Set up and operate SubArc welding equipment

• Read and interpret blueprints weld symbols and fabrication drawings

• Weld large structural components while meeting production and quality standards

• Inspect completed welds for accuracy and quality

• Safely operate material-handling equipment as needed

• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:

• Previous Submerged Arc Welding experience required

• Experience welding heavy plate or structural steel

• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols

• Experience using measuring tools and performing quality inspections

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced fabrication environment

• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred

• Must be available to work 60 hours per week

• Must be able to work the full 2nd-shift schedule
