Subcontract Administrator III
Job Summary
Seeking an experiencedSubcontract Administrator IIIto join a Supply Chain Management (SCM) team in support of New Product this contract role you will own the full procurement lifecyclefrom sourcing through deliverywhile partnering closely with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure materials components and services are delivered on time and to specification. This is a hands-on purchasing role requiring strong follow-up tracking discipline and aerospace industry expertise.

Pay Rate:$68 - $78/hour
Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday (Overtime as needed)
Responsibilities
- Managecradle-to-grave procurementactivities including sourcing quoting negotiating placing and closing out purchase orders and subcontracts.
- SupportNew Product Integration (NPI)within SCM ensuring new components and suppliers are successfully introduced into the supply base.
- Execute purchasing activities for hardware components materials and services in support of program needs.
- Proactivelyfollow up and trackopen orders supplier commitments and delivery schedules to mitigate risk and prevent shortages.
- Serve as an embedded member of cross-functionalIntegrated Product Teams (IPTs) representing SCM and driving procurement strategy aligned to program objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships managing performance escalations and corrective actions as needed.
- Negotiate terms conditions pricing and delivery to achieve best value while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records documentation and reporting throughout the procurement lifecycle.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities within the procurement process.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of progressive experience in subcontract administration procurement or purchasing.
- Aerospace industry experience is required.
- Demonstrated experience managing cradle-to-grave procurement.
- Proven ability to follow up track and drive supplier deliverables to closure.
- Experience working within cross-functional teams (IPT environment).
- Strong negotiation communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to workonsitein Kent WA or Florida.
- Must be a U.S. person as defined by applicable export control regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting New Product Integration (NPI) or new product introduction within an SCM organization.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Costpoint).
- Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and aerospace supplier quality requirements.
- Strong data analysis skills and proficiency with reporting/tracking tools.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced high-growth aerospace or manufacturing environment
