Job Description:
The Student Success Ambassador program is designed to improve individual interpersonal and academic well-being with emphasis placed upon academic well-being and academic preparedness.
Attend Strategic Learning class - Take a 1-hour Strategic Learning 1102-N7 course focusing on 1) the development of talent 2) the science of learning 3) study strategies and 4) Baylor resources
Direct students to campus and community resources as needed
Maintain regular and punctual attendance for Strategic Learning Class Tutoring Sessions and Supplemental Instruction
Promote your experience and resources with your peers in classes student organizations and more
Participate in tutoring programming provided by Baylor University
Attend weekly check-ins in Strategic Learning course and remind peers of learning strategies and Baylor resources
Utilize other Baylor resources as needed
Promote Baylor University Resources and the Success Center on personal social media accounts (accounts must be in alignment with Baylor Social Media guidelines best practices and commonly used hashtags)
Ability to comply with University policies
Maintain regular and punctual attendance for all classes
Additional considerations
Must be a freshman
Minimum GPA of 2.5
No history of severe disciplinary record
