Student Worker Glenbrook Aquatics

Since 2003 Glenbrook High School District 225 has operated an extensive community aquatics program under the banner of Glenbrook Aquatics (GA). From beginner swim lessons to a competitive swim team GA offers opportunities for swimmers of all agesincluding adults! Due to strong interest in GA programs registration priority is given first to residents of Glenbrook High School District 225 with non-residents able to register on a space-available basis.

GA operates as a community program wholly owned and authorized by the Board of Education of Glenbrook High School District 225. The program is required to be self-sufficient covering its operational expenses through registration fees fundraising and hosted meets. All program operations align with current Board Policy procedures and school district guidelines.

In September 2026 GA will begin its24th season!

Our goals this year include:

• Continuing to offer an extensive aquatics program to the residents of Glenbrook High School District 225
• Implementing an updated financial model to ensure the program remains self-sufficient while preserving the quality of programming our community desires
• Evaluating new programming opportunities for residents including expanding our water polo offerings
• Improving communication with our program participants and the Glenbrook community as a whole

To create a comprehensive high school experience the Glenbrooks focus on four distinct areas: Academics Athletics Activities and the Arts. Academic success is a top priority for our students and with nearly 300 diverse course offerings there are ample opportunities for addition to core academic courses in the areas of English mathematics science social studies and world language students may pursue special interest classes such as architecture automotive debate graphic design and music. Glenbrook students enjoy success inside and outside of the classroom through numerous athletic and extracurricular activities programs. The schools offer over 25 different competitive sports and a range of club sports to cater to any athlete. Each school also hosts 70-80 different clubs and activities for students throughout the year.
