Student Success Supplemental Instruction Leader BI0 104 Student Worker

Hours/Shifts Available: 8 - 10 hours per week for the duration of fall 26

Rate of Pay: $16.00/hr

Number of Positions available: 2 (1 SI leader per section of BIO 104)

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Attend assigned section of BIO 104 every time that the course meets (minus lab).

• Actively take notes and model positive student behaviors in the classroom while the Professor is teaching.

• Plan and facilitate two weekly 50 - minute review sessions for the duration of the term.

• Must complete all required training prior to the start of week 2. This may entail remote training.

• Must attend one meeting with the Director of Student Success every other week and one weekly meeting with the Professor teaching the course.

Qualifications:

• Must have completed and earned an A/A- in the course you are applying for.

• Must have completed 3 terms at Union.

• Must have a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA at Union.
