JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Department of Materials Science and Engineering in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences is seeking applicants for part-time job of student researcher in thin film deposition.
Job duties to include:
- prepare and analyze thin film oxide and nitride formulations intended for electronic and optical applications
- analysis methods will include diffraction microscopy spectroscopy and electrical testing
- interpret and organize the synthesis and analytical findings through written and oral reporting
Requirements qualifications and/or competencies:
- strong communication skills
- strong collaboration skills
Compensation:
The starting rate for this job is $18/hour
