Job Description:

Madison College Reedsburg Branch Campus is seeking a Student Recruiter and Program Coordinator to join the team in Reedsburg Wisconsin. This position provides recruitment outreach and support to prospective and returning students by guiding them through admissions enrollment and college transition processes.

Serving as a primary point of contact for students the Student Recruiter and Program Coordinator provides ongoing support related to academic pathways coursework and transfer opportunities. The position also works collaboratively with institutional departments high schools community organizations and other stakeholders by participating in planning meetings recruitment activities outreach events and marketing initiatives designed to expand access to Madison College programs and strengthen student engagement throughout the region.

The Student Recruiter and Program Coordinator provides guidance and assistance to prospective and current students with admissions enrollment student account services assessment orientation registration records and other related processes and policies.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: This is a part-time 25 hours a week 52 weeks a year position. Monday through Friday 8:00am 4:30pm with occasional evenings for event coverage.
  • Grant Funded: This position is a renewable grant funded position through June 30 2027 continuation of this position is dependent on continued funding beyond this date. However it is expected to be renewed.

Accountabilities:

  • Contributes to student enrollment efforts by assisting in the development of targeted marketing and recruitment strategies that address the needs of students seeking a degree.
  • Provides outreach recruitment guidance and support to prospective and current students by assisting with admissions enrollment and student account services.
  • Engages admitted students through multiple communication channels monitors their progress and tracks outreach efforts to support enrollment and student success.
  • Advises current and prospective students on enrollment processes policies and procedures ensuring they understand assessment admissions orientation student accounts registration and records.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with district high schools holding regular hours to support students in exploring college opportunities and navigating application and enrollment processes.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for students providing assistance with coursework and transfer opportunities.
  • Collaborates with institutional and community stakeholders by participating in planning meetings outreach events and marketing initiatives to expand student access and engagement.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of student recruitment outreach admissions enrollment and student transition processes.
  • Knowledge of college admissions registration orientation assessment student accounts and academic records processes.
  • Skill in building and maintaining relationships with prospective students current students high school personnel community partners and institutional stakeholders.
  • Skill in providing student-centered guidance and support in person by phone email and other communication channels.
  • Ability to effectively guide prospective and current students through admissions enrollment and college transition processes.
  • Ability to engage effectively with students from diverse backgrounds experiences and educational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

  • Associate Degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

  • 1 year of relevant professional work experience.
