As our Student Nurse you will provide vital supervised patient care and support across diverse medical/surgical populations leveraging your nursing education within a clinical setting.
Every day you will deliver direct patient care including personal hygiene and comfort meticulously monitoring and documenting clinical activities and ensuring a safe organized environment through supply management and strict adherence to safety protocols.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate compassion strong organizational skills and a commitment to safe compliant care while actively participating in quality improvement and accurately implementing delegated patient tasks.
- Provides direct patient care as delegated by RN staff
- Monitors and records vital signs
- Assists in providing personal hygiene and physical care needs
- Accurately measures records and reports intake and output
- Obtains and records daily weight
- Performs blood glucose testing using blood glucose meter
- High School Graduate General Studies upon hire or
- High School GED General Studies upon hire and
- Must be enrolled and attending nursing school(must present proof) and Has completed at least one clinical rotation in nursing school upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR through the American Heart Association
