Emory Photo/Video is looking for a creative and dependable Emory student to join our team as aStudent Multimedia Assistant. This position offers hands-on experience in photography videography photo and video editing and digital asset management while working alongside professional photographers and media professionals.
What Youll Do
- Assist Emory photographers and media professionals with photo and video shoots events portraits and other assignments.
- Capture photographs and video content for Emory projects events social media and other communications needs as appropriate.
- Assist with setting up organizing and maintaining photography and video equipment.
- Edit and organize photographs using tools such as Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop.
- Edit video footage and create polished video content using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or similar tools.
- Assist with basic video production tasks including organizing footage selecting clips adding music or graphics and preparing videos for digital platforms.
- Select prepare and upload photo and video assets to Emorys digital asset management system.
- Add and update photo and video metadata including captions keywords dates locations and other relevant information.
- Help maintain an organized and searchable photo and video library.
- Support other photography videography video editing and digital media projects as needed.
What Were Looking For
- Current Emory University student.
- Interest and experience in photography videography or multimedia production.
- Basic knowledge of digital cameras photography and video production.
- Familiarity with photo and video editing software such as Adobe Lightroom Photoshop and Premiere Pro is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional reliable creative and willing to learn.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
