JOB DESCRIPTION

The Student Life Front Desk Attendant serves as a key front-facing team member within the Student Life office supporting both daily operations and programming efforts. This role is responsible for providing high-quality customer service to students staff and campus partners while ensuring the office runs efficiently and remains welcoming and organized. Students will manage front desk operations by greeting visitors respond to phone calls and assist with general questions. They oversee the check-out and return of equipment and supplies maintaining accurate records and ensuring items are cleaned organized and ready for future use.

In addition to front desk responsibilities this position supports the planning and execution of Student Life events. This includes assisting with event setup and teardown transporting materials across campus and helping reset spaces following programs. Attendants may also provide administrative support such as coordinating and managing Professional Staff schedules assisting with calendar updates and assisting with purchasing tasks in accordance with institutional policies.

This position requires flexibility and a willingness to take on a variety of tasks as assigned by Student Life professional staff. The ideal candidate is reliable detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced team-oriented environment that balances customer service administrative work and event support.
