The Opportunity:

As the Student Leadership and Connection Advisor you will be responsible for the advising mentoring and leadership development of clubs Student Activities Board andASWSUVElection Board. Additional supervision opportunities available.

In this position you will be responsible for providing individual and organization leadership development administrative oversight of student organization and event budgets implementation of policies and procedures and you will support student life.

Additionally you will plan and implement large scale programs and representOSIon campus-wide committees.

This is a full time (100% FTE) permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.

Monthly Salary: $4050.92 - $4443 Monthly Commensurate with experience and qualifications

In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:

A Bachelors degree and two (2) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. A Masters degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a yearforyear basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Higher Education Student Affairs Counseling Leadership Studies or a related field.
• Experience supervising student employees peer educators or student leadership teams.
• Knowledge of student organization policies student conduct processes and risk management practices in a university environment.
• Experience using leadership competency frameworks student learning outcomes or co-curricular assessment methods.
