Student Housekeeper (Fall)

Position Introduction:

Performs routine cleaning in offices and public access areas within OU Residential communities. Tasks are precisely defined. Saturday and Sunday 7:30 am - 4 pm are required shifts with additional shifts available if preferred during weekdays.

Job Duties:

• Mops sweeps waxes and polishes floors
• Cleans and dusts furniture equipment etc.
• May locks and unlock offices classrooms and conference areas
• Contacts with others are of a routine nature
• Collects and disposes of wastepaper and refuse
• Vacuums carpeted areas where applicable
• Maintains lavatories and rest rooms in a sanitary condition
• Performs related duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
• Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.
• Must attach Fall OU class schedule

• Must have a strong work ethic

Department Preferences:

• Any previous customer-service experience
• Any previous professional cleaning custodial or housekeeping experience
