Job Summary
Duties And Responsibilities
Prepare for and lead Teacher Education and university orientation sessions in collaboration with SAS staff Support all staff in SAS with managing advising certification scholarship and administrative support Assist with transcript reviews preliminary advising of students and provide advising resources and support for review of applications for scholarships certification etc. Develop knowledge of university policies Assist with recruitment events management of recruitment materials and support of all orientation sessions Provide technical support for faculty and students in programs such as DegreeWorks and Via Serve as a primary face of SAS to students staff faculty and parents
Qualifications
Ability to speak to groups of students Ability to work in an environment with frequent interruptions Ability to produce professional looking documents presentations and data displays Make mature judgments and present self in professional manner in person and on the phone Flexibility to manage a variety of individuals and tasks simultaneously Ability to exercise confidentiality with sensitive information Self-starter with ability to complete extended projects with minimal supervision Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Ability to work flexible hours
