Nature of Work:
The day program staff will be responsible to implement assigned outcomes for each consumer as determined by the individual and as written in their service plan. They will implement activities events classes programs etc. that is meaningful to the adults that attend structured day program. They will work cooperatively with Assigned Team Leader in ensuring designated paperwork duties are completed timely assist participants in developing skills promote and execute meaningful daily activities implement scheduled events/classes/speakers etc. for the program meet regularly with supervisor and ensure that the needs interests rights and safety of all participants are met.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED is preferred. Verbal and written communication skills are necessary in order to perform the essential functions of the position.
- One year of experience working with adults with developmentaldisabilities preferred.
- Must maintain a valid drivers license and driving record that meets Pathways insurability guidelines to operate agency-owned vehicles.
- HHA/PCA certificate recommended or able to acquire.
- Must meet the requirements related to Criminal History Record checks that became effective April 1 2005 which requires prospective employees to be fingerprinted if they have regular and substantial unsupervised or unrestricted physical contact with people receiving services in our programs regulated by OPWDD.
