Responsibilities include installingterminating testing and labeling CAT6/CAT6A and fiber cabling as well as supporting access control CCTV and audiovisual systems. You will also interpret blueprints install network infrastructure (racks patch panels MDF/IDF) andmaintaina strong commitment to jobsite safety while working at heights. #miller #LI-JJ1

Applicants must live in the Charlotte area to be considered.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead small to mid-size projects consisting of teams up to 8 technicians
  • Pullterminate dress and label CAT6/CAT6A cable
  • Pullterminate dress and label Fiber Optic cabling
  • Test installed cable (Fluke or similar testers)
  • Punch down voice and data jacks
  • Install racks patch panels cable trays cabinets MDF/IDF etc.
  • Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights)
  • Read and interpret blueprints/system layouts
  • Install/support access control CCTV audio visual and fiber optic systems
Qualifications
  • 5 years field commercial/industrial low voltage(Voice & Data)experience
  • 5years field experiencewith structured cabling
  • BICSI Lift and OSHA certifications a plus
  • 5 years field experience intelecom/data networks
  • Willingness to travel to job sites and work different shifts as needed
