Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.

• Bachelors degree in Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering
• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification

• Degree specifically with Structural emphasis
• Masters degree in engineering or business
• Professional Engineer licensure in any state
• Structural Engineer licensure in any state or Model Law Structural Engineer designation
• At least three years transmission & distribution systems industry experience utility structures design most preferred
• At least one year steel products design experience preferably within Nucor
• PLS-Pole software knowledge
• Experience in a customer-facing work environment
