Structural Engineer I

JOB DUTIES

• Perform Structural engineering analysis and coordinate detailed design for steel concrete and foundation systems
• Develop structural calculations drawings specifications and technical reports
• Apply applicable codes and standards including ASCE 7 IBC AISC and ACI. Coordinate structural designs with civil geotechnical mechanical piping electrical and process disciplines
• Aide senior engineers in support of large facility projects
• Review shop drawings respond to RFIs and provide construction phase support
• Minimal field time and/or travel is expected but may be required at times

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• 0 Years of experience (Engineer I)
• Design experience or courses in structural steel and/or concrete design.
• EIT certification preferred
• Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment
• Experience using the following software required: AutoCAD RISA-3D STAAD Pro Mathcad L-Pile Bluebeam Navisworks and Excel
• Experience with industry standards such as: ASCE 7 IBC AISC and ACI

Salary Range:

Engineer Level 1- $75K - $80K
