Structural Engineer

An outstanding full-time opening has become available in the Corktown-Detroit MI area for a local individual with 5 years experience as a Structural Engineer with a background in Civil/Industrial Engineering. This position would earn a generous base salary and a loaded benefits package including medical dental vision a 401k Life insurance PTO and other outstanding perks.

All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration

• Please DO NOT APPLY unless you have 5 years of Structural Engineering experience including structural analysis and design of steel concrete masonry and timber structures is a MUST

• Experience with mid-large Industrial/Automotive/Manufacturing projects

• Ability to sketch read and understand structural drawings/blueprints & prepare reports accordingly is a MUST

• Experience inspecting project sites monitoring progress and ensuring conformance to designs/drawing specs is a MUST

• Performing site visits conducting meetings with clients/contractors is a MUST

• Experience with AutoCAD and SAP2000 is a MUST
• Ability to occasionally travel to Windsor ON (Canada) location is a MUST -- Work Permit Authorization/Eligibility is REQUIRED

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related is a MUST
