Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Performs static and fatigue analysis of primary and secondary airframe structure of metallic construction.

• Applies strong background in classical stress analysis.

• Uses Catia V5 to support stress analysis and drawing release.

• Reviews 2D drawings for analysis and documentation.

• Applies experience with aircraft modifications and repairs (STC MRB or Service) for structural assessments.

• Performs static analysis of composite structure.

• Uses GAC analysis methods for composite analysis.

• Applies composite allowable testing and certification requirements.

• Uses Patran or Nastran for structural analysis.

• Works independently under limited supervision.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelors Degree in engineering or technical related curriculum applicable to the job position or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 10 years in specific technical discipline or 15 years broad engineering experience in several technical disciplines with Bachelors.

• Experience credit for related advanced degrees: limited to 2 years for Masters and 4 years for PhD in fields applicable to this job.

• Strong background in classical stress analysis.

• Experience with Catia V5 for stress analysis and drawing release.

• Experience reviewing 2D drawings.

• Experience with static and fatigue analysis of metallic airframe structures.

• Preferred: Experience with aircraft modifications and repairs (STC MRB or Service).

• Preferred: Static analysis of composite structure using GAC analysis methods and composite allowable testing requirements.
