Strength and Conditioning Coach (79845)

Strength and Conditioning Coach -Womens Lacrosse Volleyball and Mens and Womens Tennis.

Position Summary:

To assist in the development promotion and supervision of all facets of the Universitys Strength & Conditioning program. Assist the head coach in guiding student-athletes through a regimen of exercises to optimize performance and decrease potential for injury.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and implement sport-specific strength & conditioning programs for Womens Lacrosse Volleyball and Mens and Womens Tennis. Work directly with head coaches of assigned teams to best prepare student-athletes for competition.
• Assist the head coach in designing and implementing sport-specific strength & conditioning programs. Work directly with head coaches of assigned teams to best prepare student-athletes for competition.
• Assist the head coach with upkeep cleanliness and security of the varsity weight room.
• Assist the head coach in carrying out rehabilitation for injured student-athletes in coordination with the Sports Medicine staff.
• Maintain student-athlete records and monitor progress of training programs.
• Assist in designing education and logistics of our internship program and social media accounts.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelors Degree Required
• Masters Preferred
• Minimum of 1 Year experience
• Certification by theNSCA - Certified Strength and Conditioning SpecialistCollegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches association (CSCCa) or equivalent
• Current First Aid
• Current CPR Certification
