Job Summary

As a Strategic Services Logistics Coordinator Hazmat & Bulk at Integrity you will serve as an operational expert supporting the Strategic Services team with a focus on hazardous & liquid bulk freight. This role is responsible for executing day-to-day operational functions including quoting routing shipment tracking and customer support while partnering closely with Strategic Sales Managers to support account service and growth.

This position plays a key role in maintaining operational continuity delivering high-quality customer service and ensuring adherence to IEL operational standards. The role reports to the Strategic Sales Manager of the hazmat & bulk division.

Core Responsibilities:

Operational Support & Execution

  • Act as an operational expert supporting assigned Strategic Services accounts and team members.
  • Take ownership of delegated operational tasks while ensuring accuracy timeliness and attention to detail.
  • Support daily execution of hazmat & bulk freight including quoting routing shipment setup and service coordination.
  • Build trust with the Strategic Services team by delivering consistent high-quality operational support.
  • Progress toward managing broader aspects of account operations including carrier coordination customer service and invoicing support.
  • Maintain operational continuity in the absence of Strategic Services leadership when needed.

Process Adherence & Accountabilities

  • Execute logistics functions with precision including but not limited to:
    • Load building
    • Load coverage
    • Board management
    • Scheduling
    • Check calls
    • Customer invoicing
  • Proactively trace shipments and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Follow established operational processes aligned with the IEL Way and Sales Operations Guide.
  • Complete assigned tasks with full accountability ensuring work is executed accurately and without rework.
  • Utilize internal partnerships for issue resolution coaching and operational support as needed.

Hazmat & Bulk Operations & Carrier Management

  • Maintain a strong understanding of IELs sales process and hazmat & bulk freight regulations.
  • Oversee execution of hazmat & bulk shipments within assigned accounts or territory.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with hazmat & bulk carriers.
  • Support negotiations related to W&Is claims and service initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate shipment tracking tracing and milestone updates across systems.

Customer & Sales Support

  • Respond to customer inquiries requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communicate directly with customers (as approved) to provide updates and resolve service issues.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of IEL solutions in customer and prospect interactions.
  • Partner with the Strategic Sales Manager to support account strategy and service delivery.
  • Assist sales teams with operational execution tied to onboarding and supporting new business.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure cohesive service execution.
  • Support collaborative problem-solving to meet customer expectations.
  • Demonstrate a strong customer service mindset toward internal and external stakeholders.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

Required

  • Minimum 2 years of transportation operations experience
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative team mindset

Preferred

  • Direct experience with hazmat & bulk operations or sales
  • Experience supporting FTL International or Warehousing services
  • Carrier negotiation or claims experience
  • Transportation management system experience

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand at a desk for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
