As aStrategic Marketing Manager Data Center you willlead marketdriven growth initiatives for the U.S. Data Centermarket. This role is responsible for defining and activating strategic marketing programs aligned with ABB Electrifications strategy positioning ABB as a trusted technology partner. This is a crossfunctional role working closely withcommercial productmarketing strategy and external industry stakeholders. Success in this role requires market insight strategic thinking and the ability to translate business strategy into impactfulmarketingexecutionand storytelling.
For this position we are open to candidates working Hybrid out of the Cary NC office or full-remote in the United States.
This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic marketing leadership Develop segmentspecific strategies for the U.S. data center market translating longterm business priorities into clear gotomarket plans and measurable campaign objectives.
Market and competitive intelligence Deliver datadriven insights on customer needs technology trends regulatory factors and competitor activity to guide strategic decisions and identify emerging opportunities.
Integrated marketing execution Lead crossfunctional campaign planning and activation ensuring consistent messaging strong value propositions and alignment across digital events content and partner channels.
Industry engagement and thought leadership Elevate ABBs presence in the data center ecosystem through industry participation speaking engagements and thoughtleadership initiatives that strengthen brand positioning.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Engineering or a related field and 12 years of experience in electrification power digital infrastructure or related industries including experience in marketing product management or sales; or a Masters degree with 10 years of relevant experience.
Experience in the data center or digital infrastructure market (hyperscale colocation enterprise or missioncritical facilities) specifically within the US market.
Proven expertise in marketing strategy market intelligence customer experience and campaign development/execution.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple functions and influence without direct authority.
Exhibits a high say/do ratiosets clear commitments and delivers results with consistency andcredibility.
Strong analytical communication and executivelevel presentation skills.
Ability to travel up to 30% within the U.S.

ABB provides 11 paid holidays. Salaried exempt positions are provided vacation under a permissive time away policy.
While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicants qualifications and experience this position is expected to pay between $142500 and $228000 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
