Strategic Business Development Manager Payments Acceptance and Commerce

Apple is looking for a Strategic Business Development Manager to help improve existing payment services and drive new payment initiatives for Apples digital our ideal candidate you enjoy a high-change environment that is focused on building the next generation of payment experiences for Apples digital merchants. This role will help the business to navigate successfully implement and support Apples payments strategy in persistence and the ability to collaborate are crucial to the success in this role.

Be the regional go to person for payments matters and execution with payment partners in EuropenStay appraised of changing payments landscape to insure that the global strategy is modified to meet local needs and opportunities nMonitor overall payment performance and identify opportunities for improvements through internal collaboration or external partners engagementnEstablish and develop strong relationships with payment providers and banks risk and payment expertsnContribute to the definition of Apple product strategy anticipating EU product needs and opportunitiesnSupport new product go-to-market strategies across Europe ensuring seamless and successful launchesnManage local projects from initiation to completion while providing consistent updates and communication to business leadernUnderstand and anticipate payment regulatory impacts with associated action plans to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities nIdentify and develop mid to long term opportunities to improve the way our customers payn

Strong understanding of EU and UK payment landscapenSignificant experience at building and maintaining relationships with payment partners: payment providers banks international or domestic payment networksnExperience driving 3DS and/or card payments performance improvements through analytical and problem-solving skillsnExperience in business development focusing on designing business models and launching new payment methods and services

Strong understanding of payments regulations and their practical impact on digital and physical merchants nSome experience interacting and influencing regulatory bodiesnExperience conducting payment conversion analysis to identify trends and optimise conversionnSome familiarity with risk management and fraud prevention principlesnAbility to contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced constantly evolving work environmentnFluency in one or more European languagesnDegree education in relevant field desirable but candidates from all education backgrounds are encouraged to may be requirednFluency in English and one or more additional languages strongly desiredn
