Woolpert is hiring aStormwater Engineerto join our dynamicWater Utilities group. This position will beresponsible for hydraulic modeling and stormwater design and permitting. Qualified candidates will be key in supporting projects within our Utilities practice.

This position is a hybrid work position primarily responsible for assisting with technical delivery and reporting on projects. This position will be part of a team engaging with clients across the Utilities Market in support of client objectives in the areas of Stormwater/Wastewater/Water Design H&H Modeling Surface Water Quality Data Analytics Asset Management and related studies and analyses. This position will perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Support various phases of our stormwater/wastewater/water projects
  • Field work around water freshwater and marine expected to be 40-60% of time.
  • Perform technical aspects of specified deliverables consistent with scope schedule and budget.
  • Meet internal and external project deadlines.
  • Complying with clearly defined QA/QC measures.
  • Communicates issues affecting phase/task or project schedule budget or quality and escalates unresolved issues to project manager team leader and/or discipline leader.
  • Delegating work to appropriate technical team members as necessary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in an engineering or environmental science program
  • Proven efficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel)
  • Experience in AutoCad Civil 3D is preferred
  • Experience in GIS software is preferred
  • Stormwater plan review experience is preferred
  • Desire to work in the field when needed including wet weather conditions
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral.
  • Strong organizational skills to successfully manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Ability to interface effectively with clients and other internal Woolpert resources.

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience.

Pay Range

$75000 - $85000 USD
