We are seeking a Storeroom Supervisor to lead daily storeroom operations in a fast-paced paper and pulp manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for inventory accuracy material availability and supervision of hourly employees in a union environment.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership inventory management expertise and the ability to work effectively within a collective bargaining agreement (CBA) while supporting safe efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily storeroom operations including receiving stocking issuing and cycle counting
• Lead and support union storeroom employees in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement
• Manage work assignments scheduling and overtime distribution per contractual guidelines
• Maintain accurate inventory in CMMS/ERP systems (SAP Maximo or similar)
• Ensure proper handling and storage of MRO parts critical spares materials and chemicals
• Partner with Maintenance Operations and Procurement to ensure material availability
• Support outages shutdowns and urgent repair needs through effective parts coordination
• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and plant policies
• Participate in grievance processes and foster positive labor relations
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency reduce costs and optimize inventory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
• 37 years of storeroom warehouse or inventory experience in an industrial setting
• Prior supervisory experience in a union environment strongly preferred
• Experience in paper pulp or heavy manufacturing highly preferred
• Working knowledge of CMMS/ERP systems (JDE SAP etc.)
• Strong understanding of MRO inventory and industrial parts
