Retail businessfinancials( loss) and driving sales growth
Creating store-specific strategies and managing your team to deliver results
Retail business fundamentals for total store includingunderstandingsales trends inventory management guest shopping patternsandsatisfaction pricing and promotions strategies and specialty businesses; teach and train your leadersonthe same business acumen
Setting and planning total store quarterly business priorities and managing a team tomeetsales goals
Building partnerships with andleveragingkey partners ( Protection Food & Beverage Human Resources) to support store performance and business growth
Makingbusiness decisions by assessing market competition understanding guest insights and feedback

Recruithireandretaina passionate team for area specific knowledge andexpertise.
Overseethe scheduling process toensureschedules meet the needs of your business while providinga consistentguest experience and aligning with team member availability and desired hours.
Own and implement leadership schedules that align to guest and business needs (including weekends mornings evenings overnight andappropriate seasonaladjustments).
Demonstrate and promote inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches being authentic and respectful and creatingequitableexperiences.
Invest in and follow up on personal and team training to enhance skills and capabilities follow up to consistently achievetimelycompletion of required training.
Drive a guest-obsessed culturebalancing the in-store and digital guest to deliver on store sales goals andoperational goals whileensuringyour team can inform educate and promote the suite of benefits features and offerings that reward our guest and/or enhance their shopping experience (including the Target App Target Circle Card Target Circle Drive Up Order Pick Up and Circle 360 same day delivery).
Own your stores overall business todrive efficiency safetyandgrow sales
Reviews store guest financial and team metrics toidentifygaps and understand behaviorsandtakes action to improve
Build and execute plans to run an efficient operation to fund future growth.
Lead and create a culture of executing all best practices;understandwhere operational shortage can occur throughout the building build routines and action plans to resolve opportunities andestablishclear goals and expectations to hold team accountable.
Leverage your reports (financial operational safety food safetyteamand guest) to understand the business and make decisions.
Lead a culture of financial accountability through following yoursales trendsleadership headcountguideline payroll management and hourly overtime guidanceandteachingeach team how to understand their role in driving sales growth and total store profitability.
Know and assess the competition; leverage guest insights and feedback to drive the business and be the destination of choice for our guests.
Build relationships that are important to the stores community to address the most pressing local needs.
Leveragefieldpartnersexpertiseand guidanceto help you solve problems collaborate on store opportunities and wins toleadyour team tocontinuous operational improvementand drivingbusinessobjectives.
Set clear prioritiesfor the teamthrough balancing competing prioritiesanddemands.
Own the safety culture and performance for the store through modeling and recognizing safe behaviorsidentifyingand correcting hazardsassistingwith incident responsevalidatinginvestigations effectively drive sustainable solutions and owningtotal store accountability toteam and guestsafety.
Validate an instore security culture by focusing on deterrenceresponseand resolutionin order toimprove physical security processes.
Validate that merchandise protection strategies across the total store are being executed according to best practices.
As a keycarrier follow all safe and secure training and processes.
Addressall store emergency and compliance needs.
Regularly assume store-level leadership on duty (LOD) responsibilities to enable the guest experience for the store during assigned shifts
Alwaysdemonstratea culture of ethical conduct safety(including food safety)and compliance;Lead and hold the team accountable to work in the same way.

4-yeardegree or equivalent experience
