Steward- KC Chop

**Responsibilities:**

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas including work surfaces equipment and floors in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Wash sanitize and properly store kitchen equipment utensils and dishware
• Manage kitchen waste disposal and recycling procedures in compliance with facility standards
• Perform routine maintenance checks on kitchen equipment and report any issues to management
• Assist with food preparation areas and ensure proper organization of kitchen supplies and inventory
• Support kitchen staff by maintaining an organized and efficient work environment
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Respond promptly to requests from kitchen and dining service staff
• Maintain personal hygiene and wear appropriate protective equipment at all times
• Contribute to a positive team environment and support operational excellence

Qualifications :

**Qualifications:**

• Experience in kitchen sanitation dishwashing or food service support 
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene protocols and health code regulations
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Adhere to all facility safety standards and procedures
• Experience with commercial kitchen equipment and machinery
• Previous experience in a high-volume food service operation
