JOB SUMMARY

The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen by cleaning dishes utensils and kitchen equipment while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Clean and sanitize dishes silverware pots pans and kitchen equipment
• Operate dishwashing machines safely and effectively
• Maintain sanitation standards in all kitchen and food service areas
• Stock and organize kitchen supplies and utensils
• Clean food preparation and serving areas (counters trays utensils)
• Transport dishware and supplies using carts and bus tubs
• Follow company policies attendance standards and regulatory requirements
• ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks (pushing pulling bending reaching)
• Must be able to work in hot high-temperature environments (up to 115F near dish machines)
• Ability to use cleaning chemicals safely (e.g. bleach oven cleaner)
• Capable of operating dishwashing equipment
• Must respond effectively to visual and auditory cues

• Minimum 6 months of kitchen or food service experience
• Basic English communication skills
• Ability to work flexible schedules including all shifts and weekends
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and grooming
