Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) – Night Shift Portland, Oregon

Location: Portland Oregon 97213
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift 5x8 Hours
Hours: 11:00 PM 7:30 AM
Schedule: Friday Tuesday

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) for a 13-week contract assignment at a well-established acute care facility in Portland Oregon. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in sterile processing surgical instrumentation decontamination procedures and inventory management within a fast-paced surgical services environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are detail-oriented dependable and experienced in supporting operating room workflows during overnight shifts.

• Perform decontamination cleaning sterilization and assembly of surgical instruments and medical equipment
• Inspect test and prepare instrument trays according to established standards and protocols
• Maintain compliance with infection control and sterilization guidelines
• Manage instrument tracking and inventory processes efficiently
• Support operating room teams with timely processing and delivery of sterile supplies
• Ensure accurate documentation within hospital systems and workflows

• Recent Sterile Processing Technician experience required
• Previous travel assignment experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of sterile processing standards and surgical instrumentation
• Experience with SPM systems and robotics preferred
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume surgical environment
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• Ability to consistently work night shifts

• CST or CRCST Certification
• BLS Certification
