Sterile Processing Technician

We are seeking a full-time Sterile Processing Technician to play a critical role in supporting safe surgical care by ensuring instruments and equipment are properly prepared and available for every procedure. This position is responsible for the decontamination inspection assembly packaging sterilization storage and distribution of surgical instrumentation and medical equipment. The Sterile Processing Technician performs sterilization processes including autoclave GI scope reprocessing and other approved methods; verifies quality assurance testing; maintains accurate documentation; and supports inventory management and process improvement initiatives. This role collaborates closely with surgeons nurses and surgical technologists while maintaining high standards for infection prevention safety and patient care. Successful candidates are detail-oriented organized adaptable in a fast-paced environment and committed to ensuring surgical teams have the right instruments ready when patients need them.

SCHEDULE

• Monday - Friday
• Five 8-hour shift: 9:00AM-5:30PM
• NO WEEKENDS. NO ON-CALL. NO HOLIDAYS.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program completion of a Surgical Technologist on-the-job training program or current Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification.
• At least one year of experience in an Operating Room Sterile Processing Department or related surgical environment.

• BLS certification (or obtained upon hire).
