Shift & Schedule: Varied Shifts Day / Evening / Night
Pay Rate: $25 - $30/hr (Based on Experience)

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Quality Control Technician for an exciting Temp-to-Perm opportunity in Long Beach CA.

Responsibilities

  • Clean decontaminate inspect assemble sterilize and prepare surgical instruments and medical equipment.

  • Receive sort and process used surgical instruments following established infection control procedures.

  • Inspect instruments for cleanliness functionality and damage prior to sterilization.

  • Assemble instrument trays and ensure proper sterilization using autoclaves and related equipment.

  • Maintain accurate sterilization records and documentation.

  • Label store and distribute sterile instruments to operating rooms and clinical departments.

  • Follow infection prevention safety and quality control standards at all times.

  • Support surgical teams by ensuring sterile instruments are available when needed.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques infection control and surgical instrumentation.

  • Ability to follow strict safety and quality control protocols.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of sterile processing experience preferably in a hospital or surgical setting.

  • Completion of a Sterile Processing Technician training program preferred.

  • CRCST (HSPA) Certification preferred or required per facility guidelines.

  • CPR/BLS Certification preferred.

  • Experience with hospital instrument tracking systems or sterile processing software preferred.
