Duration: 13 Weeks (High possibility of extension or permanent placement)

Monday Friday
7:00 AM 3:00 PM
40 Hours Per Week

Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Associate to support surgical services by performing decontamination cleaning assembly inspection packaging and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of sterile processing procedures surgical instrumentation and sterilization standards while maintaining quality and patient safety.

Responsibilities

Perform decontamination cleaning and disinfection of surgical instruments and equipment.
Disassemble inspect and reassemble general and specialty surgical instruments.
Ensure complete removal of bio-burden and maintain instrument integrity.
Assemble wrap seal and prepare surgical trays for sterilization.
Inspect instruments for functionality sharpness and defects.
Operate sterilization equipment and monitor sterilization processes.
Maintain accurate sterilization records and documentation.
Utilize instrument tracking systems to document processing activities.
Follow infection control OSHA and safety guidelines.
Assist with inventory management stocking and distribution of sterile supplies.
Support operating room case cart preparation and surgical tray management.

Required Qualifications

Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Certification
CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) Certification required.

Experience
Minimum 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
Experience with surgical instrumentation and tray assembly.
Ability to lift push pull and move equipment and supplies as needed.
Must be flexible to support operational needs including weekends and holidays if required.
