QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid Michigan teaching certification with a Science (DX) Science 5-9 (DQ) Integrated Science (DI) Elementary K-5 All subjects/K-8 All subjects in self-contained classroom (ZG) Middle Level Specialization (ZL) or another endorsement that makes you eligible to teach Middle School Electives
Ability to establish positive working relationships with teachers parents and administrators through professional communication.
Knowledge and consistent application of legal and ethical practices
Thorough knowledge and application of the principles and methodologies of effective teaching
In-depth understanding of a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS)
Thorough understanding of Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS)
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Must have the proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis
