Stats Crew | Part-Time | Acrisure Arena

The Coachella Valley Lakers are seeking detail-oriented Stats Crew members to support game day operations throughout the G League season. This part-time role is responsible for accurately tracking and distributing official game statistics using NBA Global Statistical System. Responsibilities may rotate based on game day staffing and can include statistical inputting calling backup support and maintaining the official scorebook.

This position will begin in October and requires availability for all 24 Coachella Valley Lakers home games as well as select team events throughout the season including preseason exhibitions and postseason games. All Stats Crew members are required to complete NBA Global Statistical System training prior to the start of the season.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $20.00 - $24.00

Founded in 2006 as the Los Angeles D-Fenders the organization has built a strong reputation for developing elite talent supporting the NBA pipeline and delivering a high level of competition within the G League.

Backed by the championship legacy and global brand of the Los Angeles Lakers the Coachella Valley Lakers embody a culture rooted in excellence innovation and player development. This legacy combined with Oak View Groups success in launching Acrisure Arena and the Coachella Valley Firebirds in 2022 created a powerful foundation for continued growth. This foundation positions the Coachella Valley Lakers to build on an established track record while supporting the development of future NBA talent.

Since the opening of Acrisure Arena in 2022 the desert has experienced significant momentum highlighted by the success of the Coachella Valley Firebirds and a growing calendar of world-class events. This expansion reflects a broader vision to establish the Valley as a dynamic hub for professional sports community engagement and unforgettable fan experiences.

The Coachella Valley Lakers will be managed by OVG in a similar fashion to the Coachella Valley Firebirds. The team will play a vital role in connecting with local fans supporting regional development and enhancing the overall sports scene in the desert. Fueled by Coachella Valleys energy talent and love for sports the Coachella Valley Lakers are perfectly positioned to amplify the next chapter of professional sports and the continued pursuit of entertainment in the region.

• Complete mandatory NBA Global Statistical System training.
• Support game day operations throughout the G League season.
• Responsible for setting up and managing the NBA Global Statistical Systems cabling and equipment for all home games (including afternoons evenings and weekends).
• Accurately tracking and distributing official game statistics using NBA Global Statistical System.
• Statistical inputting calling backup support and maintaining the official scorebook.
• Game night duties may include inputting (primary secondary and tertiary) calling backing up and managing the official scorebook.
• Distribute statistics during games to teams the press and courtside seats.
• Supporting role for members of the press including credentialing and media room management.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Working knowledge of NBA and NBA G League rules and regulations preferred collegiate experience helpful.
• Familiarity with roles of in-game statistic inputting calling and official scorer.
• Ability to work with others in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
