This position serves as the Strategic Impact Officer and leads the development and execution of integrated strategies and programs that strengthen the Michigan Department of Transportations (MDOTs) workforce by advancing MDOTs community building efforts ensuring internal compliance with federal and state civil rights laws and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) programs and advising on community engagement frameworks that ensure comprehensive community involvement overseeing unhoused and human trafficking initiatives. This position works closely with MDOTs leadership team and provides subject-matter expertise consultation and coaching on policies and practices across MDOTs programs projects and operations that shape decision-making and outcomes on communities across Michigan.

The Salary listed above is a range that reflects the minimum rate through the maximum rate of the State Administrative Manager 15 position.

Required Education and Experience

Education
Possession of a bachelors degree in any major.

Experience
Four years of professional experience including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level.
