Main responsibilities:

• Deliver friendly courteous and helpful customer service while serving as the primary customer contact
• Supervise train and schedule Starbucks staff to ensure optimal staffing and adherence to company standards
• Drive department performance by increasing sales improving profitability and controlling costs
• Manage inventory order supplies and maintain accurate stock levels
• Prepare and serve beverages using coffee and espresso equipment while ensuring quality standards
• Ensure compliance with Safeway and Starbucks policies procedures and audit requirements
• Maintain cleanliness organization and safety standards in the café and work areas
• Handle customer concerns and resolve service or product issues professionally
• Operate cash register functions and perform basic cash-office responsibilities
• Complete reporting logs (e.g. temperature logs) merchandising displays and other operational duties

• Familiarity with inventory control and shrink programs
• Working knowledge of retail operations and customer service standards

• Basic understanding of cash register systems and transactions

  Abilities:

• Ability to lead schedule and manage a team effectively
• Ability to multitask and work under time constraints
• Ability to plan organize and analyze operational needs
• Ability to interact professionally with customers and employees
• Ability to work independently and make decisions

• Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English

  Other requirements:

• Ability to work varied shifts in a 24-hour retail environment
• Prior retail or customer service experience required; management experience preferred
• Ability to meet physical requirements (standing/walking continuously lifting up to 50 lbs. etc.)
• Must adhere to company uniform and appearance standards
